Nerve Interference
This is an illustration of what chiropractors call the subluxation. There is a bony misalignment causing the spinal nerves to be impinged. When this happens the muscles, organs, and tissues controlled by this "wire" do not get the correct signal. The transmission is interrupted and your brain can not effectively control this circuit. Not only do you have a loss of function but the subluxation causes pain and swelling. Many patients see chiropractors because of this sometimes crippling pain but the nerve interference is the long term problem that will result in dysfunction if not corrected.
